He is your Creator
The created exists to do the will of the creator. As the Lord is our Creator, it is imperative that we listen to what He has to say, and to what He wants us to do.

He is your Loving Father
The Lord is our Father. We know we are to be obedient to our earthly fathers. How much more so should we obey our heavenly Father?

He is your Judge
It only makes sense to listen to and obey the One who will judge us and give sentence in that last day. Disregarding what the Judge has to say is surely futile!
