Proverbs 13:5 -A righteous man hates falsehood
Proverbs 29:12 -If a king believes lies, his servants become wicked
We do not like it when we are deceived and lied to, do we? Yet how often do we deceive ourselves, or allow ourselves to be deceived so that we may do something that we want to? How often have the words, “Well, it won’t happen to me,” crossed our lips? How often have we thought, “This time, it’ll be different.” The Bible warns us of several things that we may deceive ourselves about. Let us examine these things to see what the Lord has to say!
